Performance & Risk Measurement Hall of Fame

The Performance and Risk Measurement Hall of Fame honors distinguished professionals who have made substantial and lasting contributions to the industry through scholarship, writing, public speaking, and other meaningful efforts. Nominees are selected each year through a process that welcomes participation from across the industry. The Advisory Board of The Journal of Performance Measurement®  reviews the list of nominees and selects up to five individuals annually. A majority vote from the Board is required for induction.

Nominations open every February, and anyone working in performance and risk measurement can put someone forward. If a nominee received strong support the year before, they remain eligible and don’t need to be nominated again.

Why These Contributions Matter

Investment performance and risk measurement might not grab headlines, but it plays a central role in how investors make decisions, how firms evaluate success, and how trust is maintained in the financial industry.
