Well, at this point, very little. The deadline to comment was 31 December 2018. We encouraged firms to both review the exposure draft and to comment, but very few did. We are hopeful that the GIPS Executive Committee will reconsider much what they’ve proposed, as we believe the result, if much is enacted as written, will result in much more complex and possibly more costly verifications.

When the final documentisreleased, on/about 30 June 2019, it will be important to review what the changes are, not just for verification but the entire compliance process.

We will host webinars to discuss the changes, issue another Ultimate Guide on the new version, and have a session at our PMAR West conference on it. We will also provide commentary in both our monthly newsletter7 and blog.8
