The Spaulding Group recently conducted a survey of the industry regarding the 2020 GIPS standards. Given that (a) the changes reflected in the revised standards were much more extensive than any prior revision, dating back to the old AIMR-PPS® (AIMR (Association for Investment Management & Research1) Performance Presentation Standards), and (b) compliant firms needed to convert by the time they began reporting on their December 2020 results, we thought it appropriate to find out some information.
