TSG Celebrates its 25th Anniversary
Somerset, NJ – July 25, 2015. TSG (TSG) is pleased to announce that it has reached the quarter-century mark. The company was officially incorporated in the State of New Jersey on July 25, 1990.
“We are obviously quite excited to be celebrating 25 years of service to the investment industry,” said David D. Spaulding, DPS, CIPM, the firm’s founder and CEO. “We know how anniversaries that end in “0” or “5” tend to be extra special, with certain ones (like 25, 50, 100) getting even greater attention.”
“As with any company in the investment industry during the past few decades, ours has had to weather some troubling times, with the 2008 market crisis being the most severe,” said Patrick W. Fowler, TSG’s President and COO. “We’re excited by this accomplishment and eagerly looking forward to what the future will bring us.”
“Over these years we’ve seen our company transform quite a bit, from a relatively broad consultant to the investment industry, to a service firm that’s focused on performance and risk measurement,” said Christopher D. Spaulding, EVP and head of Strategy & Business Development for the company.
With offices in the New York City and Los Angeles metropolitan areas, TSG, Inc. is the leader in investment performance measurement products and services. TSG offers consulting services along with GIPS and non-GIPS verification services. It conducts operations reviews and software certification services as part of its consulting group. The firm publishes The Journal of Performance Measurement, a quarterly publication we launched in 1996; and hosts the Performance Measurement Forum. The firm also sponsors the annual Performance Measurement, Attribution and Risk (PMAR) conference and PMAR Europe which have come to be recognized as the leading performance measurement conferences in the industry. TSG’s Institute of Performance Measurement offers performance measurement training, including a fundamental’s course on performance measurement performance measurement, a course on performance attribution, and two CIPM exam preparation courses.
