Jacques Longerstaey is Managing Director; Co-Head of Risk Management at Goldman Sachs. He joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President in April 1998 from J.P. Morgan, where Longerstaey was responsible for helping to develop the RiskMetrics product, which was actively marketed to clients. He was also responsible for risk management advisory for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and in that capacity worked with many clients to help implement risk management technology and processes. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Louvain, in Belgium.
Jean-Pierre J. Mittaz, Ph.D is Vice President; Investment Performance & Valuation Oversight Group, for Goldman Sachs, in New York. As head of the 'Investment Performance and Valuation Oversight' departments in New York, London, and Tokyo, his responsibilities include securities valuation oversight. Mr. Mittaz oversees performance and risk analytics for pooled investment vehicles, institutional separate accounts, and private separate accounts. Mr. Mittaz received his Ph.D. from the University of Zurich in Switzerland, where he taught various courses in Banking, Finance, and Accounting. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Zurich, Switzerland and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Jacob D. Rosengarten is Managing Director; Co-Head of Risk Management Group for the Asset Management Division of Goldman Sachs, in New York. He was formerly with Commodities Corporation (which was acquired by Goldman Sachs in 1997), where he was Director of Accounting, Assistant Controller and Controller and, until 1998, was the Director of Risk Analysis and Quantitiative Analysis. Mr. Rosengarten holds an B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and an M.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Chicago. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
