Just as our Fall issue is a special one, so too is this Readers’ Reflection. The challenge proffered by Damien Laker in his article, which appeared in our Summer 2002 issue, was specifically directed to several industry experts in the field of performance attribution. This challenge was eagerly accepted by all of his “challengees” but time constraints did not permit all of them to write an entire article in response. Therefore, these authors have elected to respond in shorter format, and we have chosen to present their comments as Readers’ Reflections.
