The Journal Interview: John D. Simpson, CIPM, TSG

John has been with TSG since 2005. During this time, he has worked with many clients including Albridge Solutions, First Rate, CheckFree/Fiserv, Fried Asset Management, RBO & CO, Starboard Asset Management, and Morgan Keegan. John has also conducted numerous training classes for TSG as well as the CFA Institute (GIPS training). He was responsible for developing the firm’s training program in support of the CFA Institute’s CIPM program. John is currently a member of the United States Investment Performance Committee’s After-Tax Working Group, working on commendations for firms that present after-tax performance results. John is a Senior Vice President and head of West Coast Operations. He conducts both GIPS and non-GIPS verifications for many of TSG’s investment management clients. John also serves as the firm’s Chief Ethics Officer.
